DEACON'S FOOD PANTRY
This is one of our most successful outreach programs that provides food to approximately 140 families in our local community every month.
This is one of our most successful outreach programs that provides free food to approximately 80 families and individuals in need in our community. We supply groceries for residents that do not have enough food because they lack the resources to purchase it. We serve everyone from low income families, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, working poor, and anyone else that comes to the pantry that needs. We serve everyone regardless of their race, color, or religion. The amount of food given depends on household size.
Please call (732) 521-1711 to schedule an appointment to register for the food pantry.
WHERE ARE WE LOCATED?
Located behind the Presbyterian Church in the small steel building,
built and operated by the Congregation.
HOW DO WE GET FOOD/FUNDING?
The food is donated by generous residents, organizations, businesses and churches from surrounding areas. All monetary donations are tax deductible. These allow us to buy fresh milk and eggs.
YOU CAN VOLUNTEER
We welcome all volunteers, groups and individuals. Times and dates for working may vary, so please contact the church office by phone at (732)-521-1711 and leave a message.
HOW TO MAKE A DONATION
Please check to ensure that all expiration dates on the food packages are current. All non-perishable donations for the Pantry may be brought to the church any Sunday or dropped off at the church office.
Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.
